Marilyn Minter
Marilyn Minter has been making large scale photorealistic paintings (using enamel paint on metal sheets) since the 1980's. She will take photos of her subjects and then paint them onto metal accentuating any sweat, dirt and minute details. Obviously, when this is dine on a large scale, all the skins imperfections become apparent and add to the overall 'sexiness' of the work.
