The French Laundry is an American restaurant located in Yountville, California, in the Napa Valley. The chef and owner of the French Laundry is Thomas Keller. The restaurant is a perennial top five finisher in the annual Restaurant Magazine list of the Top 50 Restaurants of the World.
It will cost you $240, plus tax, just for the privelege of taking a seat at a French Laundry table (service is included), but at least you get to "own" that cush chair for several hours. A simple meal in this restaurant will cost you around a thousand dollars. But at least we can be sure that there are no genetically modified products.
The dishes are served in very small portions, to emphasize that their cuisine is "a work of art" and not just food.
After the jump, you will see the interior of the restaurant, photos of some dishes (with prices) and bills after eating there.
